Hip hop took its biggest loss since Rapper Nipsey Hussle having strong enemies a blessing 1985-2019 shirt. I really looked up to this man. Never meet him a day in my life but saw the vision he had. put the money and the power back in the artist’s hands. Turn these black communities into black own successful business areas. he wasn’t just a rapper but a bar setter and a hell of a leader and for all underground up and coming artist like myself we should be studying his life. What a great man and it was a blessing to have him on this earth to open eyes, minds, and hearts.

The first time I ever heard Nipsey I was around 18 and had just been promoted from dishwasher to line cook at a restaurant, me and my boys would play underground shit and try to discover new artists, I remember Rapper Nipsey Hussle having strong enemies a blessing 1985-2019 shirt just being a phrase that stuck in my head, whether it just sounded cool or had a deeper meaning, wish I could say I listened to more of his newer music but I always thought he had a very unique style, RIP nip. I was hoping Nipsey would actually make it like everyone else was hoping. But then I heard that he officially died, and all I felt was emptiness. 2018 was one of the worst years of Hip Hop in terms of major losses, Mac Miller was one of the few celebrity deaths where I was flat out sad as hell over, as more than thoughts and prayers or a R.I.P. message but genuinely Sad for weeks.

All I can hope is this is the only major loss in Hip Hop this year… And at the same time, I’m glad he at least made it to his Rapper Nipsey Hussle having strong enemies a blessing 1985-2019 shirt. But Damn, just like X, Nipsey died a senseless death. I understand why people turn to Nihilism. That outro in Never Change is unreal. Just a lot of people hurt by the stampede and falling on the broken glass. I have immense respect for all great artists, but even more for the artists who are also great people. This one hits very differently. RIP to a legendary artist and activist. His passing is a tragedy. And prayers up for that entire Crenshaw area, they will be mourning him for a long time.
