Thanks for that. I may need help on the Snoop Dogg Smoke Weed Everyday shirt beef after Ruthless. Between Pac vs the World, DR vs DPG & Aftermath, so on… gonna need a lot of research. No problem would be glad to help. Pac vs Everybody is very well documented. The DR/Murder Inc vs DPGC/Aftermath is a bit more tricky since it was on sidelines of the big 50/Ja beef and since that, all occurred during the myspace/Wcrydaz/DPGforum days many of the material (interviews, various forum posts from Daz, etc.) are lost. True, yes been online for a while. When people talk about “popular” hip hop from that time (the early 00s) I kind of can’t connect because I was only listening to West Coast stuff back then. Was checking for all of the up and coming “new west artist” etc.

I was and still am eating up everything from Snoop/DPG/Former Snoop related artist. And you are right the Beef was crazy because it was a hip hop royal rumble, which had the whole west coast split into 2 camps. Even if you were from the Bay and didn’t have anything to do with Snoop/Dre or Suge you had to pick sites. I remember those days of any and everything West Coast. Back then I put my co-workers and friends up on The Game, back when he was signed to JT and signed like Shyne. Never thought he’d blow up. Or checking for dudes like C-Lim, Sky Balla, Topic, Spitfiya, Mitchy Slick, The Team, etc. The Game was a Snoop Dogg Smoke Weed Everyday shirt mixtape clone back then. He tried his best to sound like the East Coast as possible, which was weird. Daz is just a tough guy to get along with it seems. He’s beefed with virtually everyone he’s worked with at some point. But, the issues with him and Dre are deep. They haven’t worked together in 20 years. I definitely feel like that has hurt Daz, a lot.

I mean, I’m never gonna Snoop Dogg Smoke Weed Everyday shirt check out new Snoop, but I don’t really have any expectations for this. He’s only had 2 decent albums this entire decade and has had more absolute misses. Snoop is a legend though, and IMO artists in his caliber always deserve a listen or two on whatever they drop no matter how iffy it gets. I will always remember after spending two weeks in Pennsylvania flying back into San Diego in the Summer while listening to California Roll as the plane landed. perfect experience. Even when he misses I appreciate Snoop. So many rappers of his era are trying to recapture their youth or insist on nostalgic throwback shit (the last Cube single was yuck) but Snoop is happy to be experimenting with genres and shit. Love it. He’s like the gangster Lou Reed.
