As for muscle building if people are building muscle I would recommend a tape measure to track fat loss. While your points are valid in the short term 2 weeks plus would be too excessive and would require a dip in calories or up in exercise.

It depends on what you consider a plateau to be. Eating less is not a good idea and exercise doesn’t really add that many “extra calories” so… Yeah. Someone you just gotta accept the situation and keep doing what you’re doing. I agree but I would just add that more exercise does burn more calories, 200-300 more for a half hour run. And from what I’ve read it’s more like 100 kcal per hour of cardiovascular training at 80% maximum. Heart rate (about what a normal run would be).

I wouldn’t want anyone to follow any of my diet advice without consulting a doctor. You really shouldn’t go below the minimum recommended intake without talking to a health professional first.
